On the evening of March 20, the Armenia French-Armenian Association will hold a discussion on “Armenian Genocide: The Routes of Displacement in the Bourg-lès-Valence city of the Drôme department in France. As Nouvelles d’Arménie reports, historian, expert in the migration of the Armenians, author of the book about the Armenian community of Valence Jean-Luc Yuar will give a speech at the event.

NEWS.am reports that the discussion will be on the routes that survivors of the Armenian Genocide took to escape. Sometimes they were impossible routes, but they led the Armenians to Europe.

The participants of the discussion will also touch upon the Armenians’ sufferings and their will to live. Maps, photos and documents will also be shown in order to provide a more vivid presentation of the routes of the displacement.
