The chess tournament commemorating Karen Asryan drew to an end in Jermuk on June 24^th, reports Armchess.

The winner was grosmeister Robert Hovhannisyan, scoring 7.5 points after 9 rounds.

Hovhannisyan was followed by Samvel Ter-Sahakyan and Hovhannes Gabuzyan in second and third place with 6.5 points each.

Armenia’s chess players Vahe Baghdasaryan, Robert Aghasaryan, Zaven Andriasyan, Hrant Melkumyan and Levon Babujyan each scored 6 points and shared the 5^th to 9^th places.
