In an interview with CNN, Hollywood actor George Clooney said the Armenian Genocide is a genocide that has not been acknowledged for 100 years.

Clooney said the key objective of his Not on Our Watch organization is to prevent genocides. “Acknowledging the events of the past is a part of prevention. We can’t ignore history,” said Clooney, as yerkir.am reports.

Mentioning that genocides continue to this day, the actor stressed the importance of focusing on genocides.
