Powerful explosion shook Aleppo once again

On the morning of 12 March, Aleppo was shocked by the second powerful explosion this week.

As Perio News reports, terrorist groups bombed the area near the Abdul Hamid Al Zahrau School located near the historic fortress of Aleppo, causing severe physical and material damages.

Perio News reports that the magnitude of the explosion was that of an earthquake and it shook the entire city, including the Armenian-populated districts.

The bombing was followed by long clashes between terrorist groups and the Syrian army, which suspended the soldiers’ penetration into the pro-government areas. Clashes continued in Hamidieh, Ghasteli, Harami and other areas until dawn, killing dozens of soldiers.
