Lilit Margaryan Fashion House presents Gallery 100 collection dedicated to the Armenian Genocide Centennial

Lilit Margaryan Fashion House, one of the founders of Armenian fashion, will present its Gallery 100 collection during an event to be held on April 7, 2015, as posted on irakan.info, according to Hayern Aysor. The collection is dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide and is being presented with the support of RA First Lady Rita Sargsyan. The fashion house gives special thanks to the RA Ministry of Diaspora for helping make the event possible.

The image of an Armenian woman and the development of her style influenced by several historical and territorial factors, lie at the core of the collection. Lilit Margaryan makes the Armenian woman having survived the Armenian Genocide of 1915 perfect. The Armenian woman survivors were not only able to preserve high moral values, but also educated a generation of great masters of art.

The main samples of the collection are dresses that were made by people inspired by the works of Armenian painters of the 20th century. Among the features of the defile will be designer Nur’s accessories, which were made especially for this event and will decorate the samples of the collection. The collection showcases incarnate transparent chiffon, cashmere with nuances, leather laces and mannequins.

Lilit Margaryan’s collection is based on the engravings by painters Saroyan, Hakobyan, Kalents, Garzou and other great painters. Geometric forms, monochrome colors, non-conformism, minimalism and eclectics-this is what helps make the collection truly ultra trendy, and that’s exactly what the world of fashion demands today.

The futur contours are amazingly in line with the traditional Armenian collars that Armenian women love, with faded shades showing the history of an entire nation. Sedrak Ghambaryan will work on the hairstyles for the mannequins, and Madlen Khachatryan from Make-Up Atelier will take care of make-up. The fashion event dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide will be held at the large hall of Meridian Expo Centre.
