RA Ambassador to Kazakhstan hosted the lesson

Sunday, February 22nd was not an ordinary day at the Armenian Sunday School in Astana. Besides the joy of meeting, speaking in Armenian and learning new things about Armenia and the Armenian people, the representatives of the school also had the opportunity to meet and talk to the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Kazakhstan. Everyone was happy and surprised when they found out that Ambassador Ara Sahakyan wasn’t there for a regular visit, but to give a lesson along with the second secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia. Several parents had also gathered to meet the Ambassador, and the lecture sparked great interest among the attendees. The topic was the origin of the Armenian people and the Armenian language. The gathered listened attentively to the lecture, after which they started asking many questions and expressing their words of gratitude. At the end, the Ambassador donated books to the school. Teacher Hayastan Mneyan mentioned with satisfaction that the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia always keeps in touch with the Armenian Sunday School and that this helps create a favorable environment at the school. Mneyan also mentioned that Ambassador Ara Sahakyan is always welcome at the school and that the school would be waiting impatiently for the next meeting with the Ambassador on March 8th.
