Ankara has cancelled the subsequent meeting of the EU-Turkey Joint Parliamentary Committee since the agenda included discussions on the Armenian Genocide, as “Yerkirmedia” reports.
The meeting was supposed to be held in Istanbul on 18-19 February. Hurriyet reports that Turkey had warned Brussels that it would refuse to hold the meeting if such an issue was included in the agenda. No further details are reported.
