Naji Numan’s book “A Hundred…And the Genocide Continues” has been published

The first copy of writer Naji Numan’s new voluminous book “Hundred…And the Genocide Continues” has been donated to Patriarch Nerses Petros XIX of the Armenian Catholic Church of Cilicia. The book was published by Numan’s “Culture for Free” Institution). The book was donated during a ceremony held at the Center of the Armenian Catholic Patriarchate of Beirut and was attended by monsignor George Yeghiaian and the Institution’s member Sirvan Numan.

The books will be distributed during an event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide at the UNESCO Chamber of Beirut with the participation of bishops and patriarchs on March 9th.

The introduction of the 512-page book is entitled “How can it continue after 100 years?”, and the preface is entitled “This is how the massacres extracted their lava”.

The book is composed of three parts. The first part (“Armenian People: Eyewitnesses and Martyrs”) provides a historical background. The second part (“Evidence of the Martyrs”) that includes the testimonies of 256 non-Armenian historians, intellectuals and writers, starting from the years of the Genocide and leading up to our days, and the third part of the book (“Lebanon and the World Won a Bouquet of Flowers and Lilies”) includes testimonies of people from 24 countries in 14 languages on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
