Armenian teen murdered in France is identified

The name of the Armenian high school student who was killed on Monday in Marseille, France, and the particulars of this incident have been revealed.
Accordingly, the victim’s name was Michael (Micha) Assaturyan, reported the French-Armenian Nouvelles d’Arménie magazine. He was sixteen years old, studying at Camille Julian high school, and he had a good reputation.
As per the magazine, the Armenian youth was killed as a result of a brutal attack. The brothers of a girl, with whom he had earlier argued over a minor subject, had beaten him with iron rods. The eyewitnesses also mentioned stabbings.
The police detained the girl in question at her home.
As News.am reports, after this tragedy, the health of Assaturyan’s father deteriorated, and he was hospitalized.
French National Assembly member Valérie Boyer, for her part, stated that she was shocked by this tragedy, and that she will closely followed the case involving this calamity.
As reported earlier, the incident occurred after classes, and nearby the entrance of the school.
