Fresh Armenian lavash to be served to those visiting the Armenian pavilion at fair in Moscow

Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan, who is on an official visit to Moscow, participated in the solemn opening of the “Armenia” fair held within the frames of the second “Journey to Christmas: Guest in a Fairy Tale” international festival organized in Moscow.

As the news center of Yerevan Municipality reports, among the participants of the opening ceremony were RA Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Russian Federation Oleg Yesayan, President of the Union of Armenians of Russia Ara Abrahamyan, as well as several Armenian businessmen and public figures.

Performing the solemn opening of the fair along with the Ambassador, Taron Margaryan and the attendees, with the accompaniment of head of the representation of Yerevan Municipality in Moscow Makar Nahapetyan, toured the fair and were introduced to the Armenian products showcased in the pavilions.

Talking about the organization of the fair in detail, Makar Nahapetyan mentioned that this time Yerevan Municipality will also be presented properly to Moscovians and thousands of guests visiting Moscow, offering visitors different types of Armenian products, including souvenirs, traditional pastry and other products. There is also a traditional Armenian oven that will provide visitors with the opportunity to taste fresh Armenian lavash.

The “Armenia” fair won third place at last year’s “Journey to Christmas” Festival. Taking this into consideration, Makar Nahapetyan assured that this year Armenia will do everything possible to be on top. The New Year’s fairs are being opened by representatives of several cities in different parts of Moscow and will run until January 12, 2015.
