Istanbul-Armenian intellectual Sevan Nishanian continues his academic work even in jail. As “ArmenPress”reports, citing the Turkish Hurriyet, Nishanian is compiling a dictionary of Ottoman Turkish words at the prison in Aliaga.
“I spend 6-7 hours a day working on my dictionary. I’m including the oldest example of any Ottoman Turkish word in Turkish texts in my dictionary,” the Istanbul-Armenian intellectual mentioned.
