On November 26, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan held a working consultation with employees of the RA Ministry of Diaspora holding academic ranks.

The RA Ministry of Diaspora has 10 candidates of sciences and 2 employees with PhDs, one of which is a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.

The employees presented the circle of their interests and their latest studies. The sides discussed different topics, talked about Armenian-Iranian relations, the role that the Armenian Church played in organizing the Great Repatriation, the relations between Armenia and the Diaspora between the years of 1988 and 2001, the test of semantics and structure of philosophical terms in Armenian, the development of Armenian terms, revelation of the role of the Ukrainian-Armenian community in Armenian-Ukrainian relations, Iran’s domestic policy, Turkey’s policy in the region and several other issues.

At the end, the minister gave the employees assignments and urged them to conduct research and apply their knowledge and results in practice.
