On November 21, the Armenia Center adjunct to the RA Embassy in Austria hosted an exhibition showcasing the paintings of Armenia’s modern artists included in the collection of ARAME Art Gallery in Yerevan.

The event was organized by the RA Embassy in Vienna, in association with the administration of Yerevan’s ARAME Art Gallery. Among the participants were Ambassadors accredited to Vienna, diplomats, as well as representatives of art galleries of Vienna and circles of art critics.

RA Ambassador to Austria Arman Kirakossian gave welcoming remarks, and the Gallery’s founding director Aram Sargsyan gave a speech devoted to the directions of modern Armenian artists, as reported by the MFA news service.

The event also included performances of jazz music by Vienna-based pianist Hovhannes Jibyan.
