Turkish Deputy PM reminds about Turkey’s fight against the Armenian Diaspora

Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey Biulent Arnch participated in the annual Top of the Year of the Diaspora of the Caucasus Awards organized by the Cherkez Cultural Union of Bursa. Arnch stressed the fact that he is a groom of Cherkezs and his wife is of Cherkez descent. Awards were granted in 13 categories, and Arnch received the Best Political Figure of the Year Award, reports Ermenihaber.am.
In his speech, the Turkish Deputy Prime Minister reminded about the Armenian Diaspora. According to Yazete news portal, Arnch noted that by saying “Diaspora”, the Turks mostly and mainly understand the Armenians scattered across the globe.
“There is an Armenian Diaspora that makes claims about the Armenian Genocide. Turkey is fighting against those claims, but the word “Diaspora” itself is correct. The people living outside of the borders of their country are called the Diaspora,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.
