On November 7, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received newly appointed Ambassador of Uruguay to Armenia Juan Carlos Ojeda.

Greeting the Ambassador, Hranush Hakobyan congratulated him on handing his credentials to RA President Serzh Sargsyan and wished him success.

The sides discussed several issues on the development of bilateral relations and future cooperation.

The Ambassador attached importance to the role of the Uruguayan-Armenian community in the country’s social and cultural life and stressed the fact that the Armenian community serves as a bridge between the two nations.
