Azerbaijani presses recently released the official statements by acting press speaker of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hikmet Hajiyev, according to which the Azerbaijanis closed down the pavilion representing the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic at the annual London World Travel Market Exhibition. According to ArmenPress, to find out whether this was true or not, the Department of Media, Information and Public Relations at the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs contacted its sources in London, which mentioned that like in previous years, this year the pavilion representing Nagorno-Karabakh is included within the Armenian pavilion as planned and is open. The sources also presented photos as evidence.

At midday on November 3, Hikmet Hajiyev made another statement, according to which Vesti.az has said the following: “…due to our negotiations with the English side, the Armenians were forced to include the NKR as part of Armenia”. However, as it was mentioned, the pavilion representing Artsakh has always been a part of the Armenian pavilion, meaning the Acting Azerbaijani MFA press speaker’s statement is overtly false.
