NKR FM meets with representatives of Armenian community organizations in Montreal
On October 30-31, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Karen Mirzoyan was in Montreal as part of the official visit to Canada.
As reported by the Department of Information of the NKR Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ArmenPress, on October 30, Karen Mirzoyan visited the Saint Gregory the Illuminator Church of the Armenian Diocese of Canada of the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church and the Saint Hakob Church of the Canadian Diocese of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia, the Saint Hakob and Alex Manoogian Schools and had meetings with members of Armenian community organizations.
On the same day, Mirzoyan had a meeting with representatives of the Armenian community of Montreal during which he answered the representatives’ several questions regarding the developments taking place in Artsakh, the current issues and challenges facing Artsakh, the ways to solve the issues and the achievements that the NKR has made throughout the decades following independence.
On October 31, Karen Mirzoyan met with several Members of the Parliament of Quebec.
The ministered talked about the current stage of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement, the NKR’s position on and approaches towards the settlement and touched upon the democratic, nation-building processes taking place in Artsakh and the achievements that have been made in that regard.
The sides also exchanged views on the forms and methods of possible cooperation. Minister Karen Mirzoyan’s working visit to Canada has drawn to an end.
