Anush Hovhannisyan with Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra of London: Season Opening Concert
We open our season with an exciting collaboration with The Royal Opera’s Jette Parker Young Artists Programme that promises to brighten up your
autumn! Anush Hovhannisyan will sing concert arias by Beethoven, Mozart and Mendelssohn, ‘operatic’ songs for the concert hall.
These arias are bookended with Beethoven’s powerful Coriolan Overture and Symphony No. 7, the latter regarded by the composer as amongst his greatest works that was also used in the 2010 BAFTA winning film, The King’s Speech. The concert is at the Cadogan Hall On Sunday November 9th at 7pm.
Anush Hovhannisyan is an Armenian soprano whose voice recently “[offered] the most nuanced vocalism on display” at a recent production at the
Royal Opera House (Opera Magazine).
