On October 17, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received Chairman of the Armenian Democratic-Liberal Party (Ramgavar) Buenos Aires Chapter, publisher and editor of Sardarabad Weekly, President of the Tekeyan Cultural Association in Argentina Sergio Nahabetian and his wife, Susanna Kristina Dergarabedian.

RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan highly appreciated the Nahabetians’ contributions to the development and dissemination of Armenian culture and preservation of the Armenian identity, as well as Sergio Nahabetian’s efforts for international recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

The sides discussed the preservation of the Armenian identity and issues concerning the Argentinean-Armenian community, as well as several issues on the development of tourism in Armenia.

After the meeting, the guests expressed their gratitude to Hranush Hakobyan for the cordial reception and promised that the future cooperation would be more fruitful.
