Prelate of Diocese of Aleppo visited Armenian schools in Aleppo
Prelate of the Armenian Diocese of Aleppo, Father, Archbishop Shahan Sarkisian, with the accompaniment of members of the Armenian Department, visited Gulbenkian School, as reported on the Facebook page of Berio News.
His Holiness was greeted by the heads, boards of trustees and teachers of the Karen Eppe Armenian Lyceum, the Zavaryan, Sahakyan, Haykazyan and Gulbenkian Pre-Schools and the kindergartens of the four mentioned schools. His Holiness gave his welcoming remarks and expressed his appreciation of the students, blessed the children and teachers and wished everyone success.
Father, Archbishop Shahan Sarkisian met with the teachers, the trustees and talked about the learning process and difficulties. His Holiness also talked about the mission of the Armenian school and said he would like the school to be secure so that the students succeed in the new academic year. His Holiness also said he would like to see Syria and the people of Syria live in safety again. He also encouraged the teachers and appreciated their sacrifice and heroic efforts.
