With the blessing of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the Publishing Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin has released the supporting manual “Church Rhetoric and Transfer of Theological Discourse Today” by lecturer of the Department of Practical Theology at Athens State University Georgios Filias. The book is designed for students of religious educational institutions and has been translated from Greek by Father, Priest Gabriel Vardanyan.

The book provides readers with the opportunity to become more familiar with and understand the centuries-old traditions of the rhetoric of church. It includes discussions on issues that are quite important in the rhetoric of church, including Christ-centered theological discourse and the elements of ritualistic or symbolic and emotion discourse in theology. The author also addresses the modernization of the rhetoric of church, in accordance with civilization, science and living standards of our times.
