On September 23, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians left for the Far East on a pontifical visit. His Holiness will be in India, Singapore and the Union of Myanmar.

His Holiness is accompanied by Prelate of the Armenian Diocese of Australia and New Zealand, patriarchal delegate of India and the Far East, Father, Bishop Haigazoun Najarian; spiritual pastor of the Armenians of India, administrator of the Armenian Humanitarian Lyceum of Calcutta, Father, Friar Zaven Yazichyan and Head of the Inter-Church Relations Office of the Divan of the Mother See, Father, Priest Paruyr Avetisyan.
