RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan said the following in response to Tert.am’s question on the referendum for Scotland’s independence:
“Regardless of the outcome of the referendum, the free expression of the will of Scots is an example of the realization of the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples.
In any country, where human rights and democratic freedoms are respected, the principle of peoples’ right to self-determination cannot be disregarded.”
