With the blessing of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the Publishing Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin has released a valuable book entitled “Armenian Genocide and the Armenian Cause: Bibliography” by Avag Harutyunyan ahead of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide.

The book serves as a summary and comprehensive bibliography of 17,235 books published in 19 languages between 1860 and 2010 and dedicated to the Armenian Genocide and the Armenian Cause. Unlike previous bibliographies, this bibliography includes lists in Armenian, Russian, English, French, German and Turkish according to anonymous publications, last names, geographical names, publishers, printing homes and the chronology of printing. Harutyunyan’s prelude presents in detail such books that have been published to this day and the principles for compiling this book. The lists of books printed between 2011 and 2013 in relation to the topic have also been included in the book as an Annex.

The bibliography will serve as a guideline for those conducting research on the Armenian Genocide and the Armenian Cause.
