Courses for young Diaspora Armenian leaders, journalists, singing teachers and dance instructors kick off with film screening as part of “Diaspora” Summer School Program

On July 22, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan attended the opening of the courses for young Diaspora Armenian leaders, journalists, singing teachers and dance instructors being held as part of the “Diaspora” Summer School Program. The ceremony was held at the Blue Hall of Moscow Cinema in Yerevan.

The participants of the program watched the film Sunrise over Lake Van, which is the dramatic story of a family that found itself in the USA in the wake of the Armenian Genocide. The film was presented by screenwriter Armen Vatyan, director Vahan Stepanyan and leading actor Karen Jhangiryan.

The participants of the program were very content with the film.
