“Ari Tun”: Harout and Avedis Eordegian: “We miss Syria a lot”

Twins Harout and Avedis Eordegian moved from Aleppo to Armenia with their families as a result of the events taking place in Syria in 2011. The twins say they adapted to life in Armenia quickly, grew to love their homeland and have good friends. They sincerely say that they love Armenia because there is no war here and they’re not witnessing all that they have witnessed in Syria. Nevertheless, they miss Syria, their friends and relatives a lot and keep in touch with them on the telephone and the Internet.

They go to school here and are now on summer vacation, and they’re spending a part of their vacation by participating in the “Ari Tun” Program. The twins say they’re having a good time, have met the participants from different countries and have established close ties with Alexan from France. They’re impressed with the visit to Khor Virap Monastery where they both went down the dungeon.

The only thing they haven’t adapted to is Armenian cuisine. They say there are a lot of herbs in the meals. They love pizza.
