The delegation of the World Council of Churches headed by Rev. Dr. Olav Fykse Tveit, the General Secretary of the World Council of Churches visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex.

They laid a wreath at the memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims, put flowers at the Eternal Fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.

The delegation also visited the temporary exhibition of AGMI.

The delegation of the World Council of Churches arrived in Armenia to participate in the international consultation on “Crisis in Syria: Challenges for Faith Communities”, which is held in Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
