First semester is over

On June 8, the Diaspora Armenian Students’ Council held its final session, which began with opening remarks by President of the DASC Samvel Mkoyan. The latter welcomed the participants of the session and particularly the DASC leaders and members and presented the agenda.
Mkoyan briefly presented the activities carried out in the first half of the year and the achievements that had been made. On February 21, the DASC received an award in the Best Youth Organization in Yerevan category at the “Haykyan” Awards, followed by a second degree diploma at the pan-Armenian contest “For notable contribution to the preservation of the Armenian identity” on March 28.
The DASC has been very active and has managed to carry out nearly 30 programs in the spheres of culture, sports, psychology, law and more.
The participants of the session also discussed the upcoming programs during a question-and-answer session.
President of the DASC Samvel Mkoyan said this year’s efforts were fruitful.
In the end, the President of the DASC granted diplomas to the members who had been more active this past semester.
