The Central Committee of the Armenian Relief Society strictly condemns the continuing terrorist attacks on Aleppo and particularly the Armenian-populated district of New Village.

These anti-Armenian actions following the emptying of Armenians of Kessab have taken the lives of people and have caused severe damage to Armenian organizations in New Village, including schools, the Apostolic and Catholic Churches, as well as homes, properties and workplaces. Many families have been left homeless. The building of the Syrian Relief Cross and the social-medical center of the Syrian Relief Cross have been damaged again. The social-medical center is the only place that provides healthcare services to the people.

The Armenian Relief Society supports our devastated compatriots in New Village with the help for support from all Diaspora Armenian politicians and diplomats as well.

We call on the United Nations, all international political and non-governmental organizations providing humanitarian assistance to take immediate action to put an end to the attacks against Armenians planned and dictated by the Turks.
