The events dedicated to the 99^th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Lebanon continue. As reported by the RA MFA press office to “Hayern Aysor”, on Apr. 29, principals and students of Armenian schools and clergymen attended a wreath-laying ceremony near the layout of Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial placed at the initiative of the administration of Holy Cross-Harboian High School. The event was held under the direction of the RA Embassy in Lebanon and under the sponsorship of the Armenian Genocide Centennial Lebanon Central Body.

Appreciating the Armenian youth’s active participation in the recent events dedicated to the 99^th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Lebanon, Ambassador Kocharyan expressed certainty that the young generation won’t spare efforts and will continue the struggle for restoration of the historical truth.

The event ended with a final speech by the school’s principal Rita Boyadjian. The attending guests and schoolchildren entered the “temple of eternity” where they laid flowers in memory of the 1.5 million victims.
