As reported by the RA MFA press office to “Hayern Aysor”, a photo exhibition dedicated to the 99^th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide was held at the reception hall of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea in Seoul on Apr. 24. The event was organized by the Korean-Armenian Parliamentary Friendship Group with the support of the Embassy of Armenia in the Republic of Korea and the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.

Several citizens of the Republic of Armenia, including deputies, businessmen and journalists attended the exhibition and viewed several photos and posters portraying episodes of the Armenian Genocide.

In their speeches at the event, Head of the Korean-Armenian Parliamentary Friendship Group No Yun-Min, Armenia’s Ambassador to Japan and Korea Hrant Poghosyan and Deputy Shin Kinam talked about the history and facts of the Armenian Genocide of the early 20^th century and recorded that only by recognizing and being aware of such crimes will it be possible to prevent such crimes against humanity in the future.
