With the concern about the miserable situation in Kessab and to put the relief efforts on the right track, the Regional Committee of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party (Ramgavar) Lebanon has launched a petition targeted at the international community, particularly UNESCO, UNHRC, OHCHR, UNHCR, ICRC and Council of Europe’s Directorate General of Human Rights and Rule of Law, drawing their attention to the situation in Kessab, to have them see the misery of people and demand their guarantees for the welfare of the migrants, preservation of their cultural heritage and safe return to their homes.
