Armenians of the U.S. West Coast condemn Turkey’s attack on Syria’s Armenian-populated city of Kessab, don’t accept the evacuation of the residents and demand that the White House and other countries take action to remove the soldiers from Kessab and make it easy for the evacuated Kessab-Armenians to return to their homes.

Our community expresses its full support to all Syrian-Armenians in general and to the Kessab-Armenians in particular. We assure that the community will do everything possible and won’t spare any efforts to support their efforts for revival.

The leaders of the Armenian community and the below mentioned organizations held a meeting and discussed the ways of providing direct assistance and reaffirmed their commitment to support the Syrian-Armenians. It was decided to contact the Syrian-Armenian Relief Fund (SARF) to continue the pro-national fundraiser to take care of the needs of Syrian-Armenians in general and the Kessab-Armenians in particular, and the members of our community will definitely participate in that fundraiser.
