The Armenian National Committee of Sacramento launched its activities with a meeting with members of California State Assembly Adrin Nazarian and Khacho Ashadjian.

The meeting brought together members of the Armenian community from all walks of life to discuss several issues of national concern and the opportunities to become a more influential political force in the capital of California.

During the meeting, Nazarian and Ashadjian shared their experiences in the political field and underlined the importance of organizing the community efficiently and encouraging the members of the community to vote. They also donated 500 dollars to reinforce the Armenian National Committee of Sacramento.

˝̋Our goal is to encourage the gathered to have politicians hear our voices,˝̋ said Chairman of the Armenian National Committee of Sacramento Garo Manjigian.

Among other speakers were members of the Armenian National Committee Lilit Movsisyan, Ted Durian and Hrag Gitsinian, who talked about the Armenian National Committee’s achievements and future programs, starting from ratification of Armenian Genocide Resolution 227 and ending with the assurance of economic assistance to Armenia and Artsakh.
