Every year, Yerevan Municipality holds an annual action called “For You, Women”. This year, at Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan’s initiative, the action will include medical services and examinations and will start this coming Monday. The action is for all women living in Yerevan who are registered at polyclinics and have cards.

The action is for all medical institutions of Yerevan, irrespective of subordination. It includes different examinations and some kinds of surgeries. Out of the examinations conducted with the latest and expensive technologies, there are only tomography and breast mammographic examinations and densitometria (determining the level of calcium in bones). The action also includes gynecological (excluding plastic surgeries) and ophthalmological (if a change of iris is needed, the citizen will pay only the sum for the iris) surgeries.

To participate in the “For You, Women” action, women of Yerevan must contact the ambulatory clinics where they are registered and be referred to the hospital in case of need and after undergoing an initial examination conducted by a doctor near them.
