On Feb. 26, a commemoration ceremony dedicated to the 26^th anniversary of the Sumgait massacres was held in front of the Armenian cross-stone in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide in one of the squares of central Brussels. Among the participants of the ceremony were RA Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan who is on a working visit to Brussels, Armenia’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium Avet Adonts, Head of Armenia’s Mission to NATO Amen Yedigaryan and members of the local Armenian community. A wreath-laying ceremony was held in front of the monument to the innocent martyrs of that horrible crime, reports the RA MFA press office to “Hayern Aysor”.
