Tbilisi’s mountain skiers are on top
On Feb. 25, the second day of the first Pan-Armenian Winter Games, mountain skiers competed in the long curve competition.
Participant of the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi Arman Serebrakian is also in Tsakhkadzor. Serebrakian is tired, but said he couldn’t miss the opportunity to attend the first Pan-Armenian Winter Games.
“True, I was very tired, but that didn’t stop me from coming. I’m happy to participate in this event. It’s also a test for me,” said Serebrakian.
Nikoloz Kozanashvili (Tbilisi) won first place in the 800 meter race, followed by Arman Serebrakian (Novato) in second place and Arsen Nersisyan in third place.
Tamar Barbaryan (Tbilisi) was the top athlete in the women’s competition. Eva Papoyan of Tsakhkadzor won second place, and citizen of Vanadzor Siranush Maghakyan won third place.
