On Jan. 27, RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan received Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland Yves Rossier. Switzerland is chairing the OSCE in 2014.

Greeting the guest, Minister Nalbandyan attached importance to the Swiss chairmanship’s initiatives aimed at raising the level of efficiency of activities and expressed Armenia’s support to the solution to the issues on the chairmanship’s agenda.

The interlocutors touched upon the upcoming visit of OSCE Chairman-in-Office, President of the Swiss Confederation, Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Didier Burkhalter to Armenia in the summer.

Edward Nalbandyan presented Secretary of State Rossier with Armenia’s and the international community’s efforts for a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and commended the Swiss chairmanship’s approach to the intermediary mission of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs for a peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
