Deputy FM Sergey Manasaryan’s meetings in Tokyo

On January 14, RA Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Manasaryan, who is in Tokyo for political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Japan, had a meeting with Vice-Chairman of the Japanese Agency for International Cooperation Ichikava Masakazu. During the meeting, the sides discussed the technical assistance programs that the Japanese government is providing to Armenia and the perspectives of implementation of new programs.
Sergey Manasaryan’s next meeting was with leader of the Japanese-Armenian Parliamentary Friendship Group Takeaki Matsumoto. During the meeting, the sides touched upon issues related to the activation of the Armenian-Japanese parliamentary cooperation, attaching importance to the formation of the Japanese-Armenian Friendship Group and the holding of reciprocal visits.
During the meeting with Japan’s Deputy Parliamentary Minister of Foreign Affairs Hirotaka Ishihara, the sides viewed the political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Japan as effective. The sides also expressed willingness to continue cooperation for the formation of the Armenian-Japanese agenda and the deepening of relations, reports the RA MFA press office to “Hayern Aysor”.
