The leader of the Turkey-based People’s Democratic Party has visited an Armenian church in Istanbul to congratulate the community on Christmas.

The Turkish Hurriyet reports that Erdogan Toprak delivered his address in the Armenian language.

“Happy New Year and Merry Christmas,” he said, wishing peace, fraternity, tranquility and happiness to all the nations around the world.
