Nikol Pashinyan urging to use Armenian products

Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan chaired today the subsequent session of the Government of the Republic of Armenia. The Prime Minister announced that only computers produced in Armenia would be placed in the sessions halls of the Government from now on and drew the attendees’ attention to the fact that the computers in front of them were produced in Armenia. “The computer hardware for government sessions has changed. This is due to a change of approach. This is our political approach. We have declared that the development of high technologies in Armenia is a priority for us. Moreover, it is a priority in the sense of not only software, but also in the sense of specific products,” Pashinyan said, adding that there also has to be a similar change at the National Assembly. “We need to provide financial assistance to place Armenian computers in the sessions hall of the National Assembly as well. It is very important for industry to grow in Armenia. We must all give preference to Armenian products and Armenian manufacturers. As you can see, there is such an opportunity,” the Prime Minister said. Nikol Pashinyan also called on all citizens of the Republic of Armenia to give preference to Armenian products when making purchases. “It is pleasant, beneficial and increases the opportunities of the local industry and local manufacturers,” the Prime Minister said.
