Levon Aronian wins Azerbaijani opponent Shakhriyar Mamedyarov at Grand Chess Tour

The second stage of the Grand Chess Tour continues in Paris.
After 6 rounds of blitz chess, leading Armenian chess player Levon Aronian scored 8 out of the possible 12 points and is second on the chess table after U.S. chess player Wesley Son, who has 9 points.
Aronian won Shakhriyar Mamedyarov and Alexander Grishchuk, tied the matches with Wesley So, Vladimir Karmnik, Vishvanatan Anand and Hikaru Nakamura.
