РусскийArmenian cross-stone to be placed in Russia’s Magadan
On the occasion of the day of the Russian city of Magadan, the “Armenian Community” regional non-governmental organization has prepared a gift for the city. Hayern Aysor, citing the city hall’s website, reports that a cross-stone will be placed at Magadan Avenue through the Armenian community’s efforts.
The monument is scheduled to be unveiled on July 17 as part of the weeklong events dedicated to the city.
Mayor Yuri Grishan has considered the placement of the cross-stone a good initiative and has stated that the cross-stone will become one of the architectural monuments of the city.
