Ara Vardanyan reelected Executive Director of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund

Executive Director of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Ara Vardanyan has been reelected for another three-year term.

The election was on the agenda for the session of the Board of Trustees of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund.

In their speeches, the members of the Board of Trustees positively assessed Ara Vardanyan’s work and noted that Ara Vardanyan rapidly responds to their issues and solves them in a short amount of time.

Talking about the Fund’s achievements, Ara Vardanyan stated that what matters to him the most is the joy of children and people in general express during the implementation of various projects.

“Last year marked the Fund’s 25th anniversary, and the Fund announced that it had directly or indirectly helped 500,000 people through its projects. This means that we have been able to make a change in the lives of 500,000 people. Throughout these years, we have received 700,000 donations. These figures go to show that the contributors and projects are growing in number,” Ara Vardanyan said.

Touching upon the trust in the Fund’s activities, Ara Vardanyan stated that there is quite a high level of trust.

“In this era, it is hard to keep anything a secret. Even if a protest is small, the issue is raised very quickly through social media. Over the past decade, I don’t remember a time when the Fund has been blamed for wrong implementation of this or that project, high costs or violation of the rules of a contest,” Ara Vardanyan said.

In 1992, by the decree of President of the Republic of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Hayastan All-Armenian Fund was established as a unique institution called for consolidating all Armenians in Armenia and abroad and their supporters who are willing to gear their efforts towards the sustainable development of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh.
