On May 19, Artsakh Republic State Minister Arayik Harutyunyan received the delegation of the “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund led by executive director Ara Vardanyan.
The State Minister welcomed the representatives of the Fund’s local bodies, arrived from 19 countries, underlining that their visits are always expected. A. Harutyunyan attached importance to the participation of the “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund in Artsakh’s prosperity and development.
“During these days we have been in a number of communities and have participated in various projects. We create new opportunities for the residents and give new life to each new structure. This is a unique patriotic upbringing of our generations studying in schools and kindergartens. We would like to reassert that the attitude towards the “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund in Artsakh is invaluable”, noted the State Minister.
Executive director of the All Armenian Fund “Hayastan” Ara Vardanyan thanked for warm reception and announced that the benefactor Andranik Baghdasaryan promised to donate one million USD for the restoration of Getavan’s school.
The state minister expressed his gratitude to the benefactor present at the meeting . “You have already written your name in golden letters in the history of Artsakh. I am proud that we have a caring compatriot like you,” said A.Harutyunyan.
“For centuries our nation has dreamed of having a statehood. Today, that dream is a reality and now the future of the Armenian nation is determined in Armenia and Artsakh. I appeal all our Diaspora Armenian compatriots to have a more active participation in the strengthening of homeland, as everything is transient, only the homeland is permanent,” said the benefactor.
During the meeting A.Harutyunyan answered the questions of those present.
