ECHR accepts murder case of 3 Armenian servicemen killed after Azerbaijani troops’ sabotage in Chinari sector for proceedings
The European Court of Human Rights has accepted the case of Grigor Narayan and Others vs. Azerbaijan for proceedings. The case concerns the murder of three Armenian servicemen during a sabotage penetration attempt made by Azerbaijani troops in the Chinari village of Tavush Province in December 2016.
The case concerns Article 2 of the European Convention on Human Rights, part 1 of which is violation of the right to life.
The application was filed by the parents and siblings of the deceased servicemen, that is, Edgar Narayan (born in 1995), Erik Abovyan (born in 1996) and Shavarsh Melikyan (born in 1990).
Their attorneys are Artak Zeynalyan and Ara Ghazaryan.
