Shooting range named after Four-Day Artsakh War hero Armenak Urfanyan opens

Nikolai Gogol Primary School #35, which is under the subordination of Yerevan Municipality, has opened a shooting range named after the school’s alumnus Armenak Urfanyan, who heroically died during the Four-Day Artsakh War in April 2016. The shooting range is located in the schoolyard.
The Department of Public Relations at Yerevan Municipality reports that the honor of opening the shooting range was reserved for the hero’s mother, Hamest Urfanyan. During the event, the schoolchildren presented the military career of Captain Armenak Urfanyan and the heroic act that he carried out during the Four-Day Artsakh War in April 2016.
The opening of the shooting range will provide the schoolchildren with the opportunity to spend some of the hours of their military class at the shooting range. The shooting range will also be open to those who wish to improve their shooting skills.
