As reported Artsakhpress, on March 18, President of the Republic of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan visited the St. Mary’s and Holy Cross Armenian Churches in Washington DC, attended the Holy Masses served at those churches and had a meeting with representatives of the parochial council and the local Armenian community.
Issues related to the development of Artsakh, Artsakh-Diaspora relations and several other areas were discussed in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
President Sahakyan attached importance to the role and significance of the Armenian community of Washington DC in the Diaspora and expressed gratitude to the Armenians of Washington DC for their ongoing support to Artsakh.
