Vahan Ter-Ghevondyan elected director of Matenadaran
On March 6 at 11:00, the Board of Trustees of the Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts (Matenadaran) held a session in the academies building of the Matenadaran, reported www.matenadaran.am.
The items on the agenda included the election of the director of the Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts (Matenadaran).
There was one application for candidate for president of the Matenadaran’s Board of Trustees received in the period established for the job vacancy tender announced by the Matenadaran’s Board of Trustees, and the applicant was Doctor of Historical Sciences and Acting Director of the Matenadaran Vahan Ter-Ghevondyan.
Vahan Ter-Ghevondyan presented the Matenadaran’s Board of Trustees with his five-year development plan and answered questions from members of the Board of Trustees. Afterwards, the Board held a closed, secret voting, and based on the results, Doctor of Historical Sciences Vahan Ter-Ghevondyan was unanimously elected director of the Matenadaran.
