Meeting held with Diaspora Armenian students

On March 2, Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts hosted another meeting with Diaspora Armenian students. Among the participants were Deputy Minister of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Melikyan, Head of the Department of All-Armenian Programs at the RA Ministry of Diaspora Gagik Gyanjumyan, Pro-Rector of Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts Mkrtich Ayvazyan, President of the Student Council Eduard Avetisyan, member of the Board of Trustees of the Diaspora Armenian Students’ Council Ashkhen Mkoyan and Chairman of the Council’s Culture Committee Karin Oskanyan, reported the Public Relations and Media Committee of the Diaspora Armenian Students’ Council.

From the outset, the students were greeted by Vahagn Melikyan, and Ashkhen Mkoyan introduced the students to the activities that the Diaspora Armenian Students’ Council has carried out and the achievements that it has made since 2010, as well as the programs to be carried out in 2018. Throughout the past years, the Diaspora Armenian Students’ Council has organized several programs, courses, seminars, cultural meetings, concerts and other events. The students asked their questions of concern and received answers from Vahagn Melikyan and Gagik Gyanjumyan. This was yet another meeting of representatives of the RA Ministry of Diaspora and the Diaspora Armenian Students’ Council with Diaspora Armenia students. The meetings will be ongoing and will be held at all universities of Armenia.
